During a pandemic, the car becomes a bedroom outside of the bedroom, a way to get out while still staying safely inside, the radio transmitting the voices of unreachable people, and the listening to a station the possibility of a dormant togetherness in a city on pause. Caught all the greens but one and I ran it was recorded while driving in Chicago between December 31st, 2020 to January 13th, 2021: through a city going through a quarantine New Years Eve, an insurrection, an insurgency, a pandemic, and a defunct vaccine rollout out loud.
